HAJJ OPS 2019
Operation Details
Hajj Operation General
The operation is mainly based on the commitment to simulate air transportation to fulfil a total number of passengers committed to be transported. This is the most significant difference than the other activities. Also, participation will not be limited only to individuals, but extended to team (group of participants) and Virtual Airlines.
To conduct Hajj Operation, participant will be required to set a certain number of passenger (later will be called BID PROCESS)to be transported during the days of the operation. This certain number of passenger is not reflection of the capacity of the participant’s aircraft seat capacity. It is a reflection of the participant’s obligation to safely, efficiently and completely flown, in the given time frame.
IVAO ID will provide default reference for the operation, and will not interfere on how the contract is carried out by the participants. In other words, which aircraft to be flown, how many flights to be flown, have to be managed by the participants. The operation management of the participant, is solely participant’s responsibility. IVAO ID will only monitors the operation based on the filed PIREP of the flights done by participant. Those flights will directly reflects the total passengers transported by participants.
For group/team and VA participants, they can manage not only to serve 1 embarkation point, as long they can manage to fulfil the number passengers required.
In addition, this operation is not a 1 way flight activity, so, if participant bid certain number of passenger, on the first stage of the operation, participant have to fly them all to Saudi Arabia. If it done in several flight, participant must bring the empty aircraft back to Indonesia, and pick up the rest of the passengers, until all of the passengers are flown completely.
On the second stage of the operation, those passengers, must be brought back to Indonesia completely, to the same embarkation point they are flown to Saudi Arabia. The mechanism is identical. Participant will have to bring their empty aircraft to Saudi Arabia, and fly back home loaded.
PARTICIPATION
To participate in the Operation, member have 3 options ;
Each type of participation, will have each registration & reporting process, as well the passenger calculation.
Member will only be allowed to participate on 1 type of participation.
